Class Descriptions
Yoga, Tai-chi, and Qigong
A moderately paced practice builds strength, flexibility and concentration.
Yin Yoga
This class focuses on slow movements and deep breathing where you allow the connective tissue, tendons, ligaments, and bones to open through each movement.  The passively long- held positions give you time to breath into this deep tissue bringing the energy the tissue needs to heal.
This class is designed to not only work the physical body, but incorporates all aspects of yoga including breath work and meditation. The class begins with a theme or intention for the practice which is weaved into the physical postures. The sequencing of the class works to open the 7 primary chakras or energy centers of the body. The practice ends with a few minutes of pranayama (breath work) and an optional seated meditation. The Inner Fire yoga class is a beautiful practice that uses all the limbs of yoga to leave the students feeling nourished, calm, and at peace. Tuesday 7:15pm 1 hr 15min

Sweet and Steady Morning Flow provides a smooth meditative flow class that harmonizes mind, body & breath. This rhythmically styled class strengthens the muscles, tendons & joints while releasing excess tensions & calming the mind. By integrating the subtle & physical systems of the mind & body, this practice promotes overall well-being & produces a heightened state of spiritual awareness.

Highly instructive & steadily paced, options will be offered for different levels so that everyone is practicing in their own best way. Flourish in your own experience as you reach for new goals!
Sweet and Steady Morning Flow
All of our classes provide an opportunity to experience the energy centers (chakras) and to feel the physical body. The health of these energy centers directly affects our overall well being and therefore the physical body. Each class is an experience of its own, and offers opportunities to practice awareness, curiosity, strength, and courage. All levels welcome.      
Tai Chi
Tai Chi is a martial art of movement that utilizes the ancient philosophy of Yin-Yang and the Five Element theories for its foundation. Practicing can reduce tension, lower blood pressure, and alleviate stress. It is a form (almost like a dance), like other martial arts (kung - fu and karate).
Qi Gong
Qi Gong is a healing practice of movement, considered the father of Tai chi. Move from your center with the breath using mental imagery while creating space in the joints and experience the flow of chi. The exercises are simple, from a standing position. Improve balance, reduce stress, lower blood pressure, clear the mind and have more energy with the practice of this ancient form of movement.
Tai Chi Easy
A carefully crafted class that gives the benefits of Tai Chi right away without having to learn the 24, 42, or 108 movements. In Tai Chi Easy you learn in sequences of three.
All levels Vinyasa Yoga. Take an hour out of your day to strengthen your body and quiet your mind. This class combines balance, flexibility, & muscle development in a vinyasa flow style that delivers real improvements for everyone. This class also includes a natural and intuitive warm-up, a series of energizing sequences in which breath & movement are linked, & a calming surrender series to cool down. "Move Your Asana" will leave you feeling rejuvenated & ready to excel at life off the mat.

Vinyasa Flow
During this all-levels, 60-minute Vinyasa flow class, Monica uses sun salutations combined with various yoga postures to help build strength and flexibility. Students will have the opportunity to build a foundation for their practice, with a strong focus on proper alignment. Additionally, these classes focus on linking breath with movement, allowing students to find a special mind-body connection. Monica is passionate about making yoga accessible to everyone - all ages, bodies, and skill-levels are welcome!
